Partner Practice of
St. James's Place Wealth Management

Pedro Bonillo-Farias DipPFS Cert CII (DM)

Based in North Somerset, I provide wealth management advice to clients in the South West of England and Wales and often nationally.

Prior to joining St. James's Place Wealth Management, I spent 11-years working in High Street Financial Institutions. During this time I helped hundreds of clients to grow their wealth, protect it from tax and achieve their financial goals. I can truly say I have found my vocation in Financial Planning.

My main priorities are always that you are extremely satisfied with my service and that you understand the advice I will give you.

Fundamentally I see my approach as one of problem-solving for the client. As a result, you can expect to receive the most comprehensive and appropriate advice at all times. Advice that considered all the complexities of your individual situation.

Being able to reflect upon a client’s financial journey and know that I have had a role in enabling them to feel happy that they have achieved their goals sooner than expected. Or, helped them to make a dream come true - usually, one which was considered by them originally as ‘a bonus’ or ‘out of reach’. Or, often, giving clients peace of mind by helping to create a better situation for their children, is something very special, and something that I always strive towards.

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and up to date by placing a strong emphasis on my personal development, This, along with the pride and dedication that I put on developing genuine personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able offer a reliable source of ongoing advice for you, for your family or for your business.

Outside of my business, I am a husband and a father of three wonderful children. I am also a keen cyclist.

Charity is also important to me and I regularly participate in sponsored sports events to raise money for different charities.

Rachel Groves DipFA, Practice Manager

I started working within the UK financial services in 2010, starting at Nationwide Building Society as a Host, Personal Banking Manager and Customer Services Manager. After a number of years spent in these roles I decided to embark on gaining a qualification recognised within the industry, the Diploma in Financial Advice.

After gaining the DipFA qualification I joined Pedro Bonillo-Farias at PBF Wealth Management, St. James's Place in September 2017. Shortly after joining as a Support Specialist I was thrilled to be accepted onto the St. James's Place Paraplanning Academy. After a year’s training and successful completion of the academy I am proud to call myself a St. James's Place Qualified Paraplanner. This has meant an increase in both industry and specific St. James's Place knowledge which is instrumental in my current role and means that I understand all aspects of how we help our clients.

I have spent a number of years in management roles and have extensive experience within the area of customer service. As a Practice Manager this means I am fully committed to ensuring that our clients receive the very best service and support at all times and I am very proud to say that our team strives to exceed expectations with every one of our client interactions.
